Q What size of padlock is the Lock Block® padlock protector best suited to?

A A lot of effort was made when designing the the Lock Block to enable it to fit a wide range of padlocks available globally. Generally speaking it will fit most 40 mm to 50 mm (1.6 inch - 2 inch) standard padlocks. This dimension refers to the padlock's hasp (the section that is inserted through the lock.

It needs to be acknowledged that padlocks come in different shapes and sizes and a product that would fit every padlock would be impossible. You will get a general feel for the sort of applications for the padlock protector from the photographs that we have supplied on our Gallery page.

We have seen certain examples of toolboxes where due to their design, the product will not fit in the lock. We have also seen special high security padlocks with a very thick base which will not allow the product to fit. This is why we provide purchasers of the product with a no questions asked 30 day cooling off period.
