Jimmy Coyne - Inventor Extraordinaire

They say that necessity
is the mother of invention, which was certainly very true in this
instance. Like all great innovations, the Lock Block® padlock
protector was developed to fill a need. Jimmy Coyne and Guy Jennings
simply wanted to find a means to protect a padlock securing a valuable
cargo, from being targeted by thieves with bolt cutters, a leverage
attack or a hammer.
After much searching, they were stunned at being unable to find any product or solution whatsoever which fulfilled their needs. It quickly became apparent to them that there was an opportunity to develop a single product, which would provide padlock security in a range of situations. Of course developing a product that would be compatible with every padlock produced is an impossible task, so Jimmy and Guy decided to focus on standard sized padlocks. Sadly Guy passed away last year, so Jimmy now produces and sells the Lock Block® padlock protector. |
