Q How much commission do you pay your affiliates?
A Promote our USD $20 Lock Block® and we will give you USD $5 commission out of every sale. Also, our program is two tier, so if you refer another site owner to our affiliate program with resulting sales, then we will pay you a further 20% commission! Our affiliate tracking software tracks all products from your one affiliate link.
A At the beginning of every month we send your payment via Paypal. There is a USD$20 minimum balance required.
Q What about currency conversions?
A All our prices are in USD (United States Dollars) and at the end of the month, you'll receive payment into your Paypal account in this currency.
Q Can I be paid by means other than Paypal?
A Not at this stage. The Lock Block® padlock protector has been popular throughout the world and we wanted to ensure that our affiliate program was accessible worldwide. We are located in Australia and Paypal enables us to make payments in USD$ which we are unable to do via our own bankers. If you are located in Australia and want to make other arrangements then please contact us.
Q How much can I expect to earn?
A This cannot be answered accurately because it depends on your site, traffic, relevance to the product (targeting) and most of all your credibility.
Q How long does the customer tracking last?
A Once the visitor clicks your affiliate link, they have 365 days to purchase. Or in other words, the cookie is active for 1 year. If they do not purchase on their first visit, but instead comes back a week later or even a year later, you still get commission on the sale. Our system also tracks based on the IP address.
Q Do you supply me with banners and text ads?
A Yes once you sign up you'll have immediate access to our affiliate area which contains all our banners and text ads and more. Our affiliate tracking software merges everything into an easy snippet of HTML code for you. All you do is copy and paste this into your site and it tracks everything from then onwards.
Q Can I be paid for offline sales activities?
A Our affiliate tracking software does include a feature which enables a purchaser to enter a code (your affiliate code) on a page of our site, which enables us to track the sale and pay the affiliate. However, this is obviously subject to the purchaser entering this code.
